This week our What’s Happening Wednesday speaks to our buyers about a house hunting checklist. There are many things to think about when you’re going out house hunting. We are currently working with a limited inventory market and it’s very important that you know what you are looking for in a home. We have a check list that we are happy to provide for anyone out there looking to purchase a home. It will help you to write down everything you are look for. This will ensure you do not miss any important points while searching. Consider how you want to live in the home by thinking of the future. Do you have children? Or are you planning on having children? Do you need a covered patio? Does the home have room for a garden you’re hoping to have? And, so on. Keep in mind, cosmetic things can be changed as you live in the home, but changing the structure is difficult. Another important factor to remember is that you cannot change the location of your home. Be sure you are happy with the neighbourhood. Does it have schools for your children? Do you need to be on a public transit route? Does the home have enough space for parking/storage for all of your vehicles? The list of what to consider will change for everyone and their personal needs but take time to really think about what you need.
