This week Shannon introduces our weekend show as Vancouver Island Vision that will update viewers on businesses, places and events in the Vancouver Island communities.
This week Shannon went to Port McNeill to list a property and stopped in the Port Hardy community to reminisce on past days. Shannon stayed the evening at the Glen Lyon Inn overlooking the marina, which had really clean rooms and was a nice place to stay overall. When hunger set in, Shannon went to Sporty Bar & Grill which provided really good food and an awesome experience with a DJ and many people from the area. Market Street is the main strip where all the shops and local business are and remains a place of action. If you’re looking to get out and explore the island, be sure to swing by Port Hardy; There are great trails to hike and awesome fishing spots.
